Soft skills

In line with the objective of “Aligning the educational offer with current challenges” of the University Strategic Plan, the University of Milan promotes the development of transversal skills and competences that do not pertain to a specific professional field but fall within general interpersonal and communication skills.

Students who attend these courses and successfully complete the learning assessment will acquire ECTS credits.

The project is implemented across all degree programmes at the university and includes four thematic areas:

• Citizenship, culture and legality
• Sustainability and the environment
• Gender equality, inclusion, and international cooperation
• Digital and communication

A list of the activities included in the catalogue can be found on the Transversal Skills and Competences webpage on the university portal.

The Veterinary Medicine Academic Board confirms that these activities can be recognised as extra ECTS credits outside the study plan.
