Enrolment
The new admission procedure for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine courses requires enrolment in the first semester, known as the filter semester, with three courses - Chemistry and Biochemistry Propaedeutics, Physics and Biology - each worth 6 University Credit Points (CFU). At the end of the filter semester, there are two exam sessions for each course and, based on the marks obtained in the filter semester exams, the Ministry of University and Research draws up a national merit ranking with a list of those admitted to the second semester of the course.
Enrolment in the first semester (known as the "filter semester") is open to all. The filter semester will take place between September and November and will include three compulsory courses:
- Chemistry and Biochemistry Propaedeutics
- Physics
- Biology
At the end of the course, there will be two national exam sessions, which will be the same for all locations:
- First exam session: 20 November 2025
- Second exam session: 10 December 2025
To enrol in the single-cycle Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, students must have passed all three exams (with a minimum grade of 18/30) and be placed in a suitable position in the national merit ranking.
